Leave no-one behind & help our Inclusion Project today

In The Gambia, disabled people are isolated due to negative attitudes. Frequently, they are kept in their homes - unknown to their community.

Across Africa, only 2% of disabled children attend school, and fewer than 5% of disabled adults are able to read or write. Without education, medical care, social interaction, or even food, they are trapped in a poverty spiral.

What we do

The Gunjur Inclusion Project supports disabled children in Gunjur and the surrounding areas, where there are at least 1,500 disabled young people. Our mission is to find them, bring them out of isolation and into a loving environment, and support them and their families, while in the process creating an inclusive community.
